Which phone delivers a real Internet?

Gizmodo published an assessment of usability of so-called “Real Internet”-enabled phones. Despite a lack of Flash playback, the iPhone is the outstanding winner.

Linux on the iPod Touch

A team has managed to get the Linux kernel running on an iPod Touch. There is still a lot of work to do in reverse-engineering the harwdare, but this opens the possibility for running completely open software on closed Apple hardware; or dual-booting an iPod Touch or an iPhone with Linux software such as Rockbox.
